Scheduling of the S/DGs is now underway!

As you may know, the scheduling process is a labor intensive activity led by Ruth Hart where we try to get the best match of people’s class preferences and schedule constraints while also ensuring classes have enough members to stimulate lively discussion.

Course Notification Letter

Be on the lookout for your course notification letter which will let you know the classes you are enrolled in. You will receive this in early August. You’ll also see rosters for all the classes that will run in the fall and the coordinators for each.

Pre-Meeting

Following that you will soon hear from your class coordinator to schedule the pre-meeting for your class(es).  The pre-meeting is conducted by Zoom, nominally during the second and third week of August. It is very important that you make every effort to attend. At the meeting you will meet your classmates, confirm the text that will be used (including the edition), agree on meeting times, make any necessary adjustments to the calendar, and begin signing up for presentations and to lead discussions.

Add or drop

In the event you find that you need to drop or add a class, you can do this yourself by contacting the class coordinators directly.
