How Omnilore is Governed

Omnilore is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. The business and affairs of Omnilore are managed by or under the direction of the Board of Directors elected by the members.  The Board of Directors may delegate the management of day-to-day operations of Omnilore to the officers or other persons (such as Standing Committee Chairs) provided that the business and affairs of Omnilore are managed by and all corporate powers are exercised under the ultimate direction of the Board of Directors.

Every month or two, the Directors, who are also Officers of Omnilore, the Standing Committee Chairs and Other Appointees meet as a Management Council.  At this meeting, they share status reports and other information in order to inform and update each other about what is happening in their area of responsibility, to flag any issues that need attention, and to identify action items that need to be completed.

Elected Board of Directors/Officers

  • Leslie Criswell

    The President serves as the general manager and  Chief Executive Officer of Omnilore, with full power over all day-to-day operations. He or she performs all duties incident to the mandatory office of President under California law, as well as duties that may from time to time be designated and assigned to him or her by the Board of Directors.

  • Dayla Sims

    Each  Vice President performs such duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or her by the Board of Directors or the President. At the request of the President, or in his or her absence, a Vice-President may perform the duties of the President. The Vice-President of Administration currently oversees the Curriculum Committee, SDG Scheduling, the Head Coordinator, Evaluations, and other academic tasks.

    Each Vice President performs such duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or her by the Board of Directors or the President. At the request of the President, or in his or her absence, a Vice-President may perform the duties of the President. The Vice-President of Administration currently oversees Membership, Registration, Office Management, and other administrative tasks.

  • Wendy Morgan

    The Treasurer has custody of and is responsible for all funds of Omnilore and  is required to keep accurate accounts of all receipts and disbursements in the corporate books, deposit all money in a depository directed by the Board, and provide  an account of the financial condition of Omnilore to the Board at the Board’s request.  In general, the Treasurer is responsible for performing all duties incident to the mandatory office of Treasurer under California law and as may be assigned to him or her by the Board of Directors.

  • Adrian Pruetz

    The Secretary is responsible for keeping minutes of all meetings of the Board of Directors and is the custodian of records, ensuring that all books, reports, statements, certificates and other documents and records required by law comply with law and are properly kept and/or filed. The Secretary is also responsible for seeing that all notices by Omnilore are duly given in accordance with Omnilore Bylaws and as required by law.  In general, the Secretary is responsible for performing all duties incident to the mandatory office of Secretary under California law and as may be assigned to him or her by the Board of Directors.

    Leads a small team which maintains the store (add to cart), member database, email and all IT services used by Omnilore

  • Arthur Garrison

    Leads a small team that maintains all information posted on the website. Each web page displays the name of the team member who manages that page. Requests for changes should be directed to the page manager
