Welcome to Omnilore!
Based in the Los Angeles South Bay, we are an all-volunteer, member-led organization dedicated to fostering intellectually stimulating dialog among our curious and engaged members. We look forward to your participation in our Study/Discussion groups (led by the participants and held in our Los Angeles South Bay classroom or by Zoom) and our Special Interest Groups (member initiated activities catering to diverse interests in more informal social settings).
Memberships
We offer two memberships:
(September to August)
A full-year membership with all correspondence by Email.
Full Membership
Full membership allows you to participate in all Omnilore activities including Study/Discussion Groups, Special Interest Groups and all other activities.
September to August with all correspondence by Email.
Limited to only Special Interest Groups activities; no SDGs.
Special Interest Groups Limited Membership
Limited Membership excludes Study/Discussion Groups but allows you to participate in Special Interest Groups such as Movies with Friends, Behind the Kitchen Door, Field Trips to local cultural sites and other social activities.
Note that the Walking Group and Science, Technology and Society Affiliated Groups do not require membership in Omnilore.
Membership Fees
The Omnilore year starts on September 1 and is divided into three terms of four months.
When you join for the first time, you can start any time of year and your fees will be prorated accordingly.

Because our current term is already underway, when you join today you will be automatically registered for the full Omnilore academic year (Sept 1-August 31).
If you join after the start of a term you may, by special arrangement, be able to join a Study/Discussion Group that is already underway. Please get in touch to see what we can arrange for you.

Once you join you will be emailed a welcome letter explaining how to get involved in all the ongoing Omnilore activities. If you sign up for full membership you will also be guided to enroll in Study/Discussion Groups.

Location
Our Study/Discussion Groups in person during the day in Suite L8, building 514 of the Beach Cities Health District in Redondo Beach and remotely by Zoom. Special Interest Groups meet in Suite L8, at local public venues or members' homes.
