Movies with Friends.

Each month, 20 to 30 Omnilore members gather in the evening at our facility at the Beach Cities Health District to watch and discuss a critically acclaimed film. After the screening, coordinator Adrian Pruetz leads a wide-ranging, thought-provoking conversation, using probing questions and offering background information that helps place the film in context.

Beyond simply viewing quality films, the group’s objective is to use cinema as a springboard for deeper analysis, exploring films as storytelling, insights into the human condition, diverse cultures, government and law, and illustrations of cinematic craft.

Announcements of upcoming films are emailed to all Omnilore members
