Field Trips.

There is so much to experience and learn from here in our local area! Theater, botanic gardens, museums, art exhibits, etc. The possibilities are endless. The focus of this group is to get out and explore the extraordinary opportunities here in our own backyard. A sampling of just a few of the places we’ve visited over the last two years:

• Greek plays at the Getty Villa Amphitheater in Malibu

• Descanso Gardens

• The Norton Simon Art Museum

• The Nixon Museum and Library

• Music Center tour and LA Opera performances

• Local community theater productions

• Disney Hall tour

• Duffy boating and picnicking around Los Angeles Harbor

• Madrona Marsh to talk with muralist and explore marshland

• Pt. Vicente Lighthouse and Nature Center
